Thornhill is a historic village in central Scotland.
In the village there are two pubs. The Lion and the Unicorn was established in 1635 and the Crown Hotel is an old 18th century coaching inn. Next to the villages is Flanders Moss, this is one of the largest raised bogs in Britain and is host to an abundance of beautiful plants and rare wildlife.
