Islay Airport lies on the south west coast of the island.
The airport provides links to Glasgow, Oban and Colonsay, and public transport serves the airport in addition to the taxi and car hire services available.
The Drome Cafe is used by visitors and locals alike, and serves locally produced fayre, tea and coffee. A display of locally produced crafts can also be found within the airport.
Islay is known as being ‘Queen of the Hebrides’ for its beautiful scenery, mild climate and for the malt whisky produced on the island.
