Isle of Skye

3-Day Isle of Skye & Highlands tour in Spanish

An unforgettable 3-day adventure to the glorious Isle of Skye traveling to the best and most beautiful places in the country. From Edinburgh travel up to Inverness and through the incredible sights of the Highlands and the wonderful 'Misty Isle'.

Day 1

Your tour of a lifetime begins at Edinburgh Lawnmarket and through the vibrant city, heading north towards the mystical Highlands. Pass by Linlithgow Palace, the awe-inspiring Kelpies, Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument as we tell the tale of Scotland's greatest heroes, William Wallace and Robert the Bruce. We stop at Doune Castle to visit this iconic fortress featured in Outlander to then see the Trossachs National Park. We venture to castles and waterfalls, ancient ruins, Viking monuments, Lochs, and Glens, stopping at the best and most beautiful places and meeting the beautiful Highland wildlife as we go, such as our Highland Cows and the Wild Deer of the Moors. Through the road to 'Skyfall', we continue to the unbelievable Valley of Glencoe and the Three Sisters, as you journey through Fort William to the Glenfinnan Viaduct, now the world-famous Harry Potter bridge. From here, your journey takes you to the shimmering Loch Ness, full of myth, wonder and mystery, to the fabulous ruins of Urquhart Castle and finally on to the beautiful city of Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, where modern culture meets a rich and wonderful history. A simply incredible, mesmerizing and action-packed day, and still two more to go!

Day 2

Refreshed and ready for adventure, your second day of this unforgettable tour takes us north from Inverness, through the Black Isle and west out towards the 'Misty Isle' of Skye, the jewel in Scotland's crown. Cross over the Sligachan Bridge whose mysteries hold the key to eternal beauty, and on to Portree, the beautiful fishing village and capital of this magical island. Amongst incredible and breathtaking scenery, we journey to the greatest sights of Skye; the Old Man of Storr, the Quiraing, the Trotternish Peninsula and the Fairy Glen, an incredible landscape of towering peaks, plummeting valleys and some of the greatest Geological Formations on earth. Finally, we stop at the unbelievable Eilean Donan Castle, the iconic image of Skye, which guarded the Highlands from Viking raiders for centuries, as we head back to the mainland. Pass by Glen Shiel and the Peak of the Spaniards on the way back to Loch Ness and on towards our base of Inverness for an evening of fun and relaxation after a simply magical day.

Day 3

From Inverness, your journey takes you now to the west, through 'Jacobite Country' and on to Culloden Moor, the wonderfully preserved battlefield where Bonnie Prince Charlie fought the last great battle ever fought in the UK. Tour the battlefield and move on to the incredible Bronze Age structures and monuments of the Clava Cairns. With a full day ahead, we take you through Aviemore towards the Dalwhinnie Whisky Distillery, the highest distillery in the UK, for you to sample what our ancestors referred to as "The water of life" and perhaps take home a bottle of Scotland's most famous export. Journeying through the Cairngorms and the Forest of Atholl, we pass by Blair Atholl Castle and on towards Pitlochry for lunch. A beautiful Victorian town frozen in time, Pitlochry offers an incredible array of refreshments, ending with the scrumptious locally made Whisky Ice Cream, from the most famous ice cream parlour in Scotland. Ready once more for adventure, we travel to the Hermitage in Perthshire where a woodland walk takes you to places reminiscent of a fantasy film, ending at the towering Black Linn Falls for an unforgettable moment. Before taking you back towards Edinburgh, we will go over the Forth Bridges for the perfect end to an unforgettable three-day trip of a lifetime.
