Isle of Skye Private Tour from Fort William

Private Isle of Skye tour from Fort William in a Mercedes with a local touring chauffeur. Full day via the Road to the Isles, Eilean Donan, Portree and Sligachan.

This is a private Isle of Skye day from Fort William. We pick you up at your hotel and run west on the Road to the Isles, then across to Skye. The drive is roughly 2 to 2.5 hours each way, which makes Fort William one of the better bases for a Skye day that still has time on the island.

You travel in a private Mercedes with a touring chauffeur who knows these roads, sets the pace around you, and handles the timings. No shared vehicle, no coach timetable.

A typical day can include Eilean Donan, Portree for lunch, and selected Skye viewpoints such as Sligachan. We adjust the order for weather, traffic and how much walking you want. We do not try to force the Quiraing, the Fairy Pools and the Storr into the same day.

Eilean Donan does not take advance bookings. Tickets are bought at the visitor centre when we arrive. Coach parties are heaviest from late morning through mid-afternoon, so we time the stop outside that window.

From £800 + VAT (£960 inc. VAT) per vehicle for the day. Fuel, parking and chilled water included. Pickup from Fort William, Fort Augustus or the surrounding Lochaber area.
