It's not just sailing.....visit an island malt whisky distillery, luxuriate in an outdoor infinity pool surrounded by amazing scenery or treat yourself to some relaxation in the spa.

This 2 day trip aboard one of our luxury yachts is the perfect antidote to the pressures and stresses of busy modern life. From the moment you arrive you will immediately feel like you are getting away from it all.

Great sailing, amazing views, good food, a luxury spa experience and a fabulous distillery tour with whisky tasting on the Isle of Arran all await you in this action packed weekend showcasing the best of Scotland's West Coast.

Arriving bright and early at our base at Largs Yacht Haven, you will meet your Skipper and First Mate who will show you to your yacht and get you kitted out and ready for your adventure. Then it's time to cast off the lines and head out onto the water for a full day of leisurely sailing on the Firth of Clyde. Cruising up the Kyles of Bute, you will have ample opportunity to take in the scenery, chat with others on board, spot some wildlife or just sit back and relax. This beautiful part of the world never disappoints!

Your destination for the evening is the prestigious Portavadie marina. Once berthed you will have the opportunity to use the leisure facilities. We recommend that you take a swim in the heated outdoor infinity pool and marvel at the gorgeous mountain scenery that surrounds you. This has to be the pool with the best view in Scotland! There's also an indoor pool, sauna and a gym if you don't fancy braving the elements. If you would like to relax a little more and indulge in some pampering, we can also book you a Spa treatment in advance to enhance your trip (additional costs apply).

Feeling rejuvenated from your Spa experience, you will enjoy a 3-course dinner in the Marina restaurant. The locally sourced AA Rosette award-winning food is mouthwatering and the panoramic views out onto the water are breathtaking. After dinner, a wee dram and some relaxing by the fire, you can retire to your yacht for the night. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves lapping is the perfect end to the day.

In the morning, after a hearty breakfast, your skipper will plot a course for the majestic mountains of the Isle of Arran. Make sure to keep a lookout for basking sharks, dolphins and porpoises on the way as they are often spotted in this area. Your destination is Lochranza and the Isle of Arran whisky distillery. Upon arrival you will tour one of the few independent distilleries in Scotland. Proudly following traditional practice this is a truly interesting whisky experience. There's plenty of time to sample a few whiskies and perhaps even treat yourself to a bottle to take home!

The final part of your journey is the sail back to Largs. Try your hand at taking the wheel under the watchful eye of your Skipper or just enjoy being out on the water as you speed towards home and a well-earned post-sailing refreshment at the marina.
