We are delighted to introduce you to a brand new offering: an immersive painting retreat with the amazing Ellis O’Connor in one of the most remote locations in the UK. The beautifully remote Knoydart peninsula on Scotland’s west coast, just across from the Isle of Skye. Cut off from the mainland with no roads in or out, and only accessible by boat (or a two-day hike!) this truly is ‘Scotland’s last great wilderness’! From the moment you step onto this magical peninsula, you know you’ve entered a treasured environment that will unlock your creativity.
Scottish artist Ellis O’Connor will be your tutor on this unique creative adventure. Inspired by the breathtaking natural surroundings, we will be working in the studio and outdoors. We’ll explore different approaches to mark making, using mixed media to create texture, detail and depth, capturing the spirit of the natural environment.
Develop your own creative voice and personal style of expression. We’ll work with water-based media and materials will be provided.
