Scotland is a leading country for LGBTQ+ equality legislation, and there are a variety of resources for those looking to visit and stay in Scotland too.

  • Meetup events: Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Stirling host LGBTQ+ Meetup groups, where you can meet liked-minded people.
  • LGBTQ+ Health & Wellbeing: With branches in Edinburgh and Glasgow, this organisation provides social events, as well as general support - see their helpful guide to what's on.
  • LGBT Youth Scotland: Creating a safe and inclusive environment for young people in Scotland.
  • Acccommodation: All businesses in Scotland comply with equality legislation. However, if you are looking for accommodation specifically stating that they are LGBTQ+ friendly, check the Misterb&b website or the Gay Welcome website for accommodation listings.
