Scotland’s attractions host egg-cellent Easter events and days out that the wee ones, and big ones, will love. The National Trust for Scotland has a range of Easter Egg Trails across many grand attractions, from Newhailes House & Gardens in Musselburgh and Culzean Castle in Ayrshire & Arran, to Weaver’s Cottage in Glasgow and Brodie Castle in the Highlands.

Calling all whisky connoisseurs! You’re in for treat with the whole month of May dedicated to Scotland’s National Drink, uisge beatha. Join in a range of tours, tastings, festivals and events that take a deep dive into the history and culture of Scotland. Depending on your palette and preferences, you can find a range of distilleries where you can tour and sample whisky across Islay, Campbeltown, Speyside, Lowlands and the Highlands – the whisky regions of Scotland.
If the history and heritage of Scotland is more your cup of tea, why not delve into Scotland’s Castle Trail? Located in the magical region of Aberdeenshire, this trail encompasses 19 of the most marvellous and dramatic castles on offer. Elsewhere you won’t be lost for grand estates or impressive houses to explore too.
