1. Depart Edinburgh (8:30 AM)
Meet your guide and begin your journey through Scotland's heartland, tracing the footsteps of its most iconic freedom fighter.
2. Paisley Abbey (10:00 AM – 10:45 AM)
Visit the majestic Paisley Abbey, where legend holds that William Wallace was educated as a boy. Explore its Gothic architecture, ancient tombs, and the Wallace Memorial window—a powerful place to reflect on the roots of rebellion.
3. Stirling Bridge Battlefield Site (11:30 AM – 12:15 PM)
Stand where Wallace and Moray led the Scots to victory in 1297. Your guide will recount the tactics and turning points of the Battle of Stirling Bridge.
4. Wallace Monument (12:30 PM – 2:00 PM)
Climb the 246 steps of this towering tribute to Wallace. Inside, explore exhibits on his life, legacy, and the fight for Scottish independence.
Optional: View Wallace's legendary sword and panoramic views from the crown.
Lunch available at the monument café or nearby in Bridge of Allan.
5. Stirling Castle (2:15 PM – 3:45 PM)
Visit the royal stronghold overlooking the battlefield. Learn about the Wars of Independence, Robert the Bruce, and the shifting tides of power.
6. Falkirk Battlefield & Callendar House (4:15 PM – 5:00 PM)
Visit the site of Wallace's defeat in 1298 and explore Callendar House, which offers exhibits on the battle and Scotland's medieval history.
7. The Kelpies (Photo Stop – 5:15 PM – 5:45 PM)
