Meet Adam Burns - Centre Manager at Willowgate Activity Centre

We caught up with Adam to find out a little more about his favourite places to visit in Scotland and what experiences he is looking forward to in the future.

Tell us a bit about yourself and your role at Willowgate Activity Centre?

I have worked at Willowgate since we started the centre in June 2017. I love introducing new people to the River Tay and showing them a new perspective of Perthshire. I also love the strong community we have built with the people of Perth.

Willowgate is part of the Tay and Earn Trust, a Scottish registered charity working to rejuvenate the Tay, increase access and tourism and support the wildlife to thrive on the banks and in the river.

What are you most looking forward to doing in Scotland?

I am most looking forward to completing a full Tay descent on my trusty paddleboard, completing the full 188 km over five days.

What is your most memorable experience in Scotland?

My favourite experience in Scotland is sitting on the white sandy beaches with my paddleboard in hand, experiencing pure clean air, clean beaches and amazing people.
