Charleston Cottage is a self catering property sleeping up to 6 people plus travel cot. The cottage is well equipped and is open all year round.
Charleston Cottage is located adjacent to the picturesque Flowerdale Bay, Gairloch, Wester Ross, in the Scottish Highlands. The property sleeps up to 6 people with an additional travel cot and high chair available for an infant. Up to 2 dogs are welcomed, however, they must not be allowed on the beds/furniture or left in the property unattended. A crate is provided for visitor use. The cottage was refurbished to a very high standard at the end of 2015.
The Wester Ross area is renowned for its natural beauty and attracts many return visitors year after year. Gairloch itself is charming and one of the larger villages. The cottage is perfectly situated with easy access to pubs, restaurants, shops, a golf course, the beach, bank and boat trips all within walking distance. Other holiday pursuits such as horse riding and numerous beaches are available locally. The cottage is well positioned as a base to enjoy the outdoors through hiking, or cycling. A small jetty in Charlestown is convenient to launch kayaks. The cottage is located only a few minutes away from the main NC500 route.
The accommodation is generally on one floor with 3 bedrooms. There is a king size room, a twin or super king room and a single or twin room. A large bathroom with both bath and large shower is available and there is a separate cloakroom. The kitchen is well equipped with electric fan oven with gas hob, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and tumble drier. The living room has a dual aspect and has a multi-fuel burner for those chilly nights to complement the gas central heating. A TV, DVD and CD player are all provided. There is a dining table and six chairs in the living room too. There is a loft room above the kitchen made out as a kids den. There is a TV, DVD and XBox provided in this room.
Outside there is a small enclosed garden with a patio area. A table with six chairs is provided and there is a BBQ.
