Accommodation: 2 bedrooms, 2 twins (sleeps 4)
A simply great converted steading, that is both welcoming and quirky. The large main space has double height ceilings and a large open fire, whilst the large glass doors give exceptional views across the Strath. This room contains sitting room, dining, kitchen and a magnificent billiard room as well as a bathroom. The two twin bedrooms are extremely comfortable and both are en-suite.
Outside is a patio and furniture - perfect for a quiet drink at the end of the day. The house has ownership of two upper Tay beats which may be available by arrangement. The beats are Upper and Lower Farleyer where catches have almost doubled in the past year.
If you are not fishing then this area is filled with things to do and places to explore. The nearby town of Aberfeldy is enchanting with independent shops and restaurants, golf course and distillery. Nearby is Castle Menzies, or explore some of the many wonderful walks in the area where you may well see deer and red squirrels. Canoeing and rafting is also available nearby.
Farleyer Steading is delightful, the sort of place that gives you peace and glorious views, but is located in a popular area with plenty to do. The holiday house itself is ideal to enjoy Perthshire.
