Holmlands is a small family run Bed and Breakfast in an Edwardian house.
We took over the property in 2013 and are continually renovating and upgrading the house and gardens. Sitting in extensive gardens, the house has stunning views of the Clyde Valley. The tranquil location makes for a relaxing break but yet we are only 2 minutes away from the motorway. (J14, M74.) and conveniently located for travel into the two major Scottish cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh.
On arrival you will be welcomed with a drinks tray and home baking. All our rooms provide a speciality drinks tray with fresh milk and homemade biscuits. Hairdryers and towelling bath robes are also provided alongside locally handmade toiletries from Findlays Bar.
The guest lounge in the conservatory has stunning views over the Clyde and a hospitality tray if you fancy a wee dram. There is also a TV, DVD player and a selection of books.
Breakfast is served in the traditional dining room where we offer a full cooked breakfast with locally sourced produce and fresh eggs from our own free range hens. We also offer all our own homemade preserves made from homegrown fruit.
Evening meals can be provided with prior booking as can packed lunches.
In addition to plenty of off road parking we can also provide secure storage for your bikes if you are doing The Lands end to John OGroats ride.
