Nestled on an 84-acre hillside estate, tucked between two charming holiday cottages, this cosy studio is a peacful retreat, with tranquil walks bearby, and easy access to nearby villages, lochs, and trails. Enjoy farm-fresh food, Highland Cow experiences, and a warm Scottish welcome – your Trossachs adventure begins at Nether Glenny.
The studio features a modern walk-in shower, a breakfast bar/dining area, and a comfortable lounge area with a Smart TV. Guests can prepare simple meals in the well-equipped kitchenette, complete with a double hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, and cookware — or make life easier by ordering from our “Dine In” menu of delicious homemade dishes.
Outdoors & Activities
Relax by the pond and watch the sunset from the outdoor chairs or enjoy a BBQ with a view. From your doorstep, you can walk, run, or cycle directly into the Menteith Hills, discovering scenic trails and breathtaking views across the hills and Lake of Menteith.
Nearby, the villages of Aberfoyle and Callander offer restaurants, quirky shops, art galleries, and whisky specialists. Local adventures include bike hire, water sports, Go Ape, mountain climbs, wild swimming, and forest walks. You’re also close to Inchmahome Priory, Stirling Castle, and other famous landmarks.
Farm Experiences
Nether Glenny Farm is a working farm with a focus on sustainable practices and wildlife restoration. Join our much-loved “Coos and Views” Highland Cow Experience every Wednesday and Saturday at 11am; meet our Highland cows up close, learn about their personalities, and hear how we care for them and the land.
Food & Drink
Just a few minutes away, guests can enjoy award-winning dining at Nick Nairn’s restaurant (with a 10% discount for our guests). We are sure that you will be tempted to order from our Dine In menu, homecooked dishes lovingly prepared by Tracy — from hearty Venison Casserole to tasty vegetarian dishes.
Guests also have access to The Nether Glenny Pantry, our cosy cabin with a roaring log fire, bluetooth speaker, classic board games, tea, coffee, and outdoor blankets. The Pantry also stocks soft drinks, snacks, local gifts, Highland Cow souvenirs, and other treats available to purchase or pre-order online.
