Rockhall is a 16th century Tower House set in an idyllic location, well situated for exploring Southwest Scotland. All bedrooms are en-suite and tastefully furnished, with views across Dumfries to Criffel or the house's gardens.
Arriving at Rockhall through the sandstone gate pillars, come up the driveway past the gardens to the generous turning circle at the front of the property where you can park.
You will be met by Kirsty or Callum at the front entrance, who will take you to your Superking or Twin en-suite bedroom. Note that bedrooms are arranged over 3 floors which can be reached by our grand staircase.
Each room is equipped with flat-screen TV, tea/ coffee facilities, super-fluffy towels and bathrobes. Wifi is also available and of course, breakfast is included (let us know if you have any special dietary requirements).
You are free to explore the 10 acres of gardens at Rockhall which have a stream flowing through it, a pond, sweeping lawns and a walnut grove.
Should you wish to explore Dumfries and Galloway, there are many outdoor pursuits available in the region, from golf courses, sailing, fishing, mountain biking and miles of equestrian trails.
The area has much history and culture too and we are blessed to have a great selection of fantastic, fine-dining restaurants too.
Although Dumfries and Galloway has many fine Bed and Breakfasts (B&Bs') few are as perfectly set and luxurious as Rockhall Tower. We really hope you will enjoy your stay with us.
