Ayrshire Scotland

a Robert Burns & - Culzean Castle Private tour.

Experiencing Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, the Electric Brae and Culzean Castle with a private guide.

ROBERT BURNS BIRTHPLACE MUSEUM, BURNS COTTAGE & CULZEAN CASTLE (8 HOURS)

First stop is the village of Alloway, the birthplace of Scotland’s National Bard, Robert Burns. Here we have the opportunity to visit Burns Cottage and the unique Robert Burns Birthplace Museum. We steep ourselves in his history and heritage and visit Alloway Auld Kirk, Brig o` Doon and Burns Monument Garden.

We then skirt the Ayrshire coast and cross over the world famous optical illusion known as the Electric Brae  on our way to Culzean Castle, seat of the Clan Kennedy. Culzean Castle is one of Scotlands most popular visitor attractions and showcases Robert Adam`s architecture and beautifully landscaped gardens on a dramatic clifftop setting.

This tour allows us to enjoy panoramic views across the Irish Sea and the granite bird sanctuary of Ailsa Craig from where curling stones are hewn.
