Guided historic tours that take you to the heart of central Scotland’s real and imagined past from Mary, Queen of Scots who lost her head to Claire & Jamie of Outlander..
Outlander Day Tours
We are based in Linlithgow, which is right at the heart of Outlander filming locations, with several right on our doorstep. We are dedicated fans of the books and TV series, and take part in as many Outlandish events as we can, both here and abroad: Emma and Anne were delighted to join the Outlandish clan for the Tartan Day parade in New York in 2015 & 2016. Our guides have expert local knowledge of the area and will also tell you about the real history of each site we visit.
We offer both Shared and Private 1, 2 or 3 day tours and we suggest that you base yourself in Linlithgow. It is on the train line between Edinburgh and Glasgow giving you the flexability to go into the cities and to also experience an authenthic Scottish town. There are a number of accomodation providers and fabulous restaurants and shops.
Solo travellers are very welcome and we are happy to join you for an evening meal or a wee dram in the local establishments!
