See Orkney is a small family buisness, the guides are native Orcadians Lorna and her daughter Carrie, who are both STGA Green Badge qualified. Lorna has varied interests in Orkney including photography, golf and family history. Carrie enjoys playing the Violin (Fiddle) and searching for treasure on our beautiful shorelines. Both are of course interested in all things Orcadian.

Below are some of the many things to do and see in Orkney:
Heart of Neolithic Orkney
UNESCO World Heritage Site
A 5000 year old village, two ceremonial stone circles and a large chambered cairn.
Scapa Flow, the Churchill Barriers and the Italian Chapel
Stop at the sites of the scuttling of the German Fleet, the sinking of The Royal Oak.
Drive across the Churchill Barriers and visit the Miracle of Camp 60, the Chapel built from Nissan huts by the Italian POW.
Kirkwall and Highland Park
Tour and Taste at Highland Park Distillery
Seascapes and Landscapes
Views across the sea to the North Isles, stops at the Brough of Birsay and the spectacular cliffs at Yesnaby. Then Stromness, Scapa Flow, the Churchill Barriers and the South Isles. If we are lucky we could see Puffins or the Primula Scotica.
Take the ferry to visit some of Orkney's outer Isles
Our home Island is Westray and it is well worth a visit. On Westray you can visit Noltland Castle, Noup Head Bird Reserve, the Links of Noltland dig, puffins at the Castle of burrian, Wheelingsteen Gallery and Hume Sweet Hume knitwear and much more.
