Solway Tours- 5* Scottish Ancestral Tour

Let Solway Tours help you to walk in the footsteps of your ancestors with a bespoke Ancestral Tour of Scotland. 5 Star guided ancestral tours of Scotland by two passionate and knowledgeable historians.

At Solway Tours we can prepare personalised ancestry tour itineraries which can include research into your family name or Scottish Clan that you have connections with. As historians we will use a variety of resources to research and prepare a bespoke tour for you and your family that will allow you to visit some amazing historical sites, witness the majestic countryside that Scotland has to offer and ensure that you walk in the footsteps of your ancestors. If you have connections to any Scottish Clan we will research their ancestral home and other sites they are connected to and will prepare an itinerary around these sites. We will then guide you around these sites bringing your ancestral heritage to life enhancing your knowledge of where they lived, what they did for work and what life was like for them. This knowledge can then be shared with other family members and passed on to future generations. As with all our tours an ancestry tour will include a door to door service, we can collect from any airport, train station or hotel and we can organise accommodation if required. Please get in touch if you would like us to start to plan and prepare a bespoke ancestry tour for you and your family. Let us start to plan a trip of a lifetime that will let you walk in the footsteps of your Scottish ancestors.
