Join us on this four-day island adventure to Fair Isle, taking in the south end of Shetland as we depart from and return to Lerwick.
Boarding in Lerwick on Friday 24 April at 09:30
Disembark in Lerwick on Monday 27 April at 17:00
Your adventure will begin with a comprehensive safety briefing including how to work the lines on deck and getting hands-on with the sailing as you head out on a discovery of beautiful bays and quiet coastlines only seen from the sea.
As with all sea voyages, the exact route and timings will be dependent on the weather and the decision of the skipper. A sail down the southeast coast of Shetland will take you past Mousa and Sumburgh Head on route to Fair Isle where the boat will berth or anchor overnight.
A voyage on Swan is very much a hands-on experience - you are part of her crew, and work as a team to make your voyage happen. All tasks are shared and everyone joins in, from the most to the least experienced. For more details of what to expect on board please refer to our Welcome Aboard Leaflet.
Included in the price of this trip are sailing instruction, accommodation and all meals for the duration of your stay.
There are basic waterproofs onboard, however you may feel more comfortable in your own wet weather gear. Please ensure you wear sensible footwear, with good grips, and warm clothing, and don't forget your camera.

The Swan Trust
When you come aboard the Swan you are embarking on a 'hands on' adventure. Play an active role in sailing and working the ship, build friendships with your crew mates, develop new skills and take in stunning scenery. Sailing trips range from a half day to 14 days and no previous sailing experience is required. Private charter also available by request.
