Whitetail Gin Distillery is a unique family owned (and run) distillery producing Whitetail Gin on the isle of mull, as well as new small batch 'Isle of Mull' seasonal gins and very special gin liqueurs - Sold widely across the island and throughout the UK, 'Whitetail Gin' is available for you to try and buy at the Whitetail farm shop and cafe (new distillations will be taking place over the summer of 2019 so come and visit us to see what is going on and learn more about our production.
Our brand leader 'Whitetail Gin' is produced using native and local botanicals which are sustainably harvested from the shores and the land of Tiroran Estate, and Whitetail is produced from our new copper still installed in May 2019. Whitetail Gin is a multi award winning and very special 'London Dry' method of Gin
If you come into the shop you can also sample Whitetail Gin, enjoy savoury and sweet home baking, buy locally sourced produce and farm shop goodies and gifts - and sit in the courtyard on a sunny day, possibly with a Whitetail G&T, barista coffee or a pot of freshly brewed tea - You can park your vehicle for a while (either in our own car park or a 1/4 mile on at the NTS car park) and take a stroll along the track towards Burg and the McCulloch's Fossil Tree (we have National Trust maps to guide you) You don't have to venture far to enjoy the spectacular walks and scenery of Tiroran and Burg and we can point you in the right direction for a view of our neighbouring Whitetail Sea Eagles or the otters on the shore (please note that the Fossil Tree walk is a full day and should only be undertaken by experienced and fit walkers, but the track walk is suitable for all levels of fitness as you can choose to walk as little or as much of it as you like)
