The Merlin Restaurant offers a romantic setting for dinner by candlelight. With exposed stonework and original beams, the setting adds to the hotel's historic ambiance.

The style of cuisine in the Merlin Restaurant is A La Carte, presenting the finest local produce, lovingly prepared for you to savour.
The Ptarmigan (pronounced Tar-mi-gan) Bar is a cosy pub & lounge offering bar meals and drinks from the bar at pub prices! Famous for its homemade steak pies, the comfy leather chairs and sofas offer the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine or a pint to wash down some traditional pub grub.
Popular with the locals, you’ll be sure to meet a few memorable characters in the Ptarmigan Bar. Don’t worry, the natives are friendly!
The Capercaillie (pronounced ka-per-kail-ee) Room is the venue for our regular Ceilidh and Scottish Nights. Tasty food abounds, silver served to you by our attentive and friendly staff.
The Capercaillie Room is also the ideal venue for Wedding & Function bookings.
