Sea Kayking in Argyll & the Isles

Aaron Millar, a travel writer for The Independent recently took on the Scottish Sea-Kayak Trail located in Argyll and Bute. Not for the faint of heart, the trail just happens happens to be Europe’s first long-distance sea-kayak route, spanning an impressive 300 miles from the Isle of Gigha in the south to Ullapool in the north.

Along the way, Aaron describes days of paddling past ancient stones and porpoises, with nights filled of whisky-tasting, micro-brewed beers and fish and chips. Sounds like a fantastic way to spend the summer!
