Bervie Brow & Grain’s Farm – Heritage & Harvest Tour
Scenic coastal drive to the remarkable Bervie Brow Research Station, Stonehaven & Grain’s Farm. Lunch at Kirktown Garden Centre & afternoon refreshments all included. Scottish resident discount available.
Step ashore and uncover a powerful blend of heritage, community spirit and rural life on this thoughtfully curated small-group experience through Aberdeenshire’s coastal and countryside landscapes.
Designed to offer meaningful, behind-the-scenes access, this tour combines exclusive entry to a unique heritage site, authentic farming connections and locally curated food experiences — all brought together through Your Vibe Tours’ strong local partnerships.
Your journey begins with shore pick-up in Aberdeen (with staggered local collections available), travelling south along the coast to Bervie Brow.
Here, guests are granted exclusive access to a site not open to the general public, specially opened for Your Vibe Tours. You’ll be welcomed by Harry, founder of the non-profit bunker project, who will share the story behind this remarkable community initiative and its historical significance.
Inside, step into a carefully recreated 1950s-style kitchen, where guests can truly immerse themselves in the era. Enjoy a nostalgic refreshment of tea or coffee served with a classic Tunnock’s Teacake — a simple but memorable moment that brings the past to life.
Leaving Bervie, the tour continues through scenic Aberdeenshire landscapes, offering a relaxed pace and insight into the region’s agricultural heritage and coastal communities.
Guests are welcomed to Kirkton Garden Centre, where the passionate owner has created a bespoke “Your Vibe Tours” lunch menu exclusively for guests.
Enjoy lunch in the light-filled conservatory, with a selection of freshly prepared options showcasing local produce. Guests also have time to browse the on-site shop, featuring plants, gifts and locally sourced products — adding an extra layer to the experience.
The afternoon continues with a visit to a working farm, where guests gain an authentic insight into modern rural life.
At Grains Farm, enjoy a relaxed and engaging experience that connects visitors with the land, the seasons and the people behind local food production. Through storytelling and guided interaction, guests learn about farming practices, sustainability and the rhythms of the agricultural year.
This element of the tour highlights Your Vibe Tours’ commitment to real, personal connections — offering access and experiences not typically available to independent travellers.
