I suggested the Campbell mausoleum at Kilmun where the Campbell chiefs are buried, then we stopped at the Clachaig Inn in Glencoe with the brass plate reading “No Hawkers, No Campbells”, the historic animosity between Campbells and MacDonalds still remembered centuries after the 1692 massacre.
