Wander through the Great Hall, the beautifully restored Royal Palace, and the serene Queen Anne Gardens. The panoramic views from the castle walls reveal the vast landscapes that were once battlegrounds in Scotland’s fight for independence.

Drive to Loch Katrine: Through the Trossachs Next, take a scenic drive through the heart of the Trossachs National Park, a region known for its stunning natural beauty. This area, often called the “Gateway to the Highlands,” features rolling hills, dense forests, and sparkling lochs. As you approach Loch Katrine, the rugged landscapes and serene waters create an enchanting atmosphere, perfect for a romantic escape.

Scenic Boat Trip on Loch Katrine Upon reaching Loch Katrine, you’ll board a peaceful cruise on this beautiful loch. Afternoon Tea at the Abbotsford Hotel, Callander

This former cotton mill, nestled along the River Teith, is now a renowned distillery known for its handcrafted single malt whiskies. On the distillery tour, you’ll discover the whisky-making process, from grain to glass, and learn about Deanston’s eco-friendly production methods. The tour concludes with a tasting of some of their finest whiskies, subject to availability.
