Tour to malt whisky distilleries North of Inverness. Tour to malt whisky distilleries for 1 - 3 people Whisky production tour at 1 distillery and tastings at 2 - 3 others. Tour Cost is £280 Entries to distilleries not included.
Departing Inverness we heard North to visit some Highland Distilleries. We visit World famous Glenmorangie distillery at Tain, home to the tallest whisky stills in Scotland at 17 ft tall, they get he nickname 'Giraffes'. Further along the Dornoch Firth we arrive at Edderton and 'Balblair' distillery, where since 1790 they have been producing single malt at the fourth oldest distillery in Scotland. Next, we travel further North,up to the town of Brora. Here we find Clynlish distillery. Clynlish has a long history and a strong connection with 'Johnny Walker' whiskies, with 95% of production going into Johnny Walker blends. Last but not least on our tour, if time allows we visit Glen Ord distillery with its award winning visitor centre.
