Begin your adventure at Ullapool harbour, within the village’s historic area. Soon we head off the beaten track and walk along the enchanting coastline of Loch Broom with wide-open sea and island views, onto a charming woodland path next to a beautiful river, and onwards into Rhidorroch estate. Your local experienced guide will entertain you with captivating stories and local folklore and bring Ullapool’s past brilliantly to life. Insights into village life today will be shared as well and you will discover a world-famous geological site, too. The loop halfway up and down Ullapool hill will reward you with breathtaking panoramic views and a feeling of truly being away from it all. On our way back on a different route, every step will reveal a dramatic tapestry of mountains, sea and sky. This walk is the perfect way for adventurers and explorers to immerse themselves in nature and experience the authentic history and heritage of Ullapool, the Highlands and its people. 

This is an easy walking tour on sidewalks, grass and gravel paths with gradients, combined with a medium-level hike on uneven, possibly boggy ground, incl. some steep sections up and down a rocky, narrow path. The tour price depends on the size of your group and starts from £45 per person.
