Our adventure begins at Inveronan Hotel, where we prepare for the day's hike, ensuring all essentials are in place. Traverse the expansive landscapes of Rannoch Moor, pausing for a delightful tea or coffee break amidst breathtaking views. Continue the journey through Glencoe, reaching the iconic Devil's Staircase.

The Devil's Staircase

Experience stunning views as you pass by the King's House on your way to the Devil's Staircase. The ascent may sound challenging, but it's way more manageable than it seems. As you climb, the impressive views unfold behind you, so be sure to take moments to glance back. Reaching the summit brings the reward of strolling through the mountain range, continuing your journey toward Kinlochleven campsite. Enjoy the amenities at the campsite, including showers and a dry room if needed.

Dinner

Indulge in a delightful dinner at the Tailrace Inn, followed by a relaxing evening with a few drinks at the Inn. Afterward, return to the campsite where your comfortable tent awaits, ensuring a restful night under the stars.

Day 2

Commence your day with a full Scottish breakfast before embarking on an unforgettable hike towards Glen Nevis campsite. Exiting the campsite, ascend to capture the scenic Kinlochleven from an elevated perspective-a splendid view for a brief hike. The journey unfolds through the mountain range, with each step offering increasingly breathtaking views along the path to Glen Nevis. Take a moment to unwind with tea or coffee break against the stunning backdrop. Continuing along the trail, passing through thin scattered woodland you'll reach a split path. Opt for the high road to Glen Nevis, where the iconic Ben Nevis emerges in the distance. As you draw near to Glen Nevis, the Mighty Ben Nevis looms large, providing a captivating glimpse of the path you'll tread early in the morning. This enchanting journey concludes with a sense of accomplishment and anticipation for the adventures that lie ahead.

We'll provide a packed lunch for your ascent, along with a kettle for a hot cup of tea or coffee. As we leave the campsite, there's a chance to grab some treats from the bakery-snack van. Arriving at the foot of Ben Nevis, soak in the captivating morning scenery with lingering mist. Remember, climbing Ben Nevisis not a race, but we aim to time our adventure to witness the Jacobite Train crossing the viaduct at Glenfinnan, scheduled for 15.00.

Heading home.
