Whirlpool Special
It is an exhilarating 1.75 hour trip using our open rib focusing on seeing as much action as possible at the Corryvreckan, the third largest whirlpool site in the world.
We only run these tours when the tidal conditions are right to see the Corryvreckan Whirlpools at their most active. Although the Whirlpools happen every day the extent of the whirlpools depend on the tides. Call us for more information.
Every visit to the Corryvreckan Whirlpools is different as the formation of the whirlpools is affected by the wind strength and direction.
We provide full waterproofs but it is a good idea to come well wrapped up! The cost is £48 per adult and £38 per child (under 16) we also offer family group discounts however our Whirlpool Special Trips are not recommended for under 8’s.

Based in the conservation area of Easdale, 16 miles south of Oban we have a fleet of powerful RIBs and a traditional hard boat which are purpose designed and built to ensure you maximum viewing opportunities. Our Wildlife Tours depart throughout the day visiting the Gulf of Corryvreckan, home of the World's Third Largest Whirlpool. Porpoise, dolphins and whales feed in these food rich waters along with many seals and the occasional otter.
