Glasgow Mela, 5 July 2026 – Scotland’s biggest South Asian festival comes to Kelvingrove Park, with vibrant music, dance, food, artisan stalls, workshops and performances.
Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, 23 July – 2 August 2026 – mark your calendar for 11 days of world-class action across the city, bringing 3,000 athletes from 74 nations together to compete across 10 sports.
Game On Live Site, 23 July – 2 August 2026 – get into the excitement of Glasgow 2026 at Kelvingrove Park, with free sports activities, pop-up games areas and live Commonwealth Games action on the big screen as part of the Glasgow 2026 Festival.
SWG3 live music events, 24 July – 1 August 2026 – enjoy five nights of live music at SWG3 as part of the Glasgow 2026 Festival, featuring Kyle Falconer, Mungo's HiFi, Hot Chip (DJ set) and celtic folk legends Capercaillie alongside acclaimed contemporary trad band Rura.
Merchant City Festival, 24 July - 2 August 2026 – Enjoy arts, circus, dance, live music in the Merchant City area of Glasgow.
World Pipe Band Championships, 14 – 15 August 2026 – hear over 8,000 of the world's best pipers and drummers compete for the top prize in the largest event of its kind in the world.
Glasgow Foodies Festival, 14 – 16 August 2026 – featuring top chefs, tasty street food, craft drinks and live music in a relaxed outdoor setting.
