Glasgow's annual folk, roots, indie, world and traditional music festival celebrates the links between Celtic music and cultures across the globe, featuring ceilidhs, workshops, talks, dancing, art exhibitions, and free events.
Celtic Connections is Europe's premier folk and roots music festival. Every January, the festival lights up the Scottish winter. Concerts, ceilidhs, workshops and events take over venues throughout Glasgow. Each year sees 300 events over 18 days, and more than 2000 musicians from 50 countries. Previous festivals have featured Robert Plant, Laura Marling, the Chieftains, Bobby Womack to name a few - and more than 100,000 attendances. More than ever this is a festival which has become unmissable.
