Walk in the footsteps of the famous Scottish warriors, enjoying the old-fashioned hospitality and traditional trappings of the many charming towns and villages stationed along the trail - a well-earned comfort at the end of a day spent out hiking in the area's hills and glens.
The route forms a loop around the forests, glens and hills outside of the Victorian town of Blairgowrie on the banks of the river Elricht, a town associated with Queen Victoria - she would often stay there while taking excursions out nearby to some of her favourite vantage points for Scottish country scenery.
