Travel over the Queensferry Crossing with views of the Forth Rail Bridge to Scotland’s ancient capital Dunfermline. Visit the Abbey, burial place of Robert the Bruce and used as a location for the recent film celebrating his life, Outlaw King.

See where Andrew Carnegie, once the world’s richest person, author of the Gospel of Wealth and pioneer philanthropist, was born before emigrating, penniless, to America in 1848 at the age of 13.

Really imagine life as it was 300 years ago. Culross is a perfectly preserved 18th century Scottish village and is where the character Geillis Duncan from the TV series Outlander lived.

Are you a tennis fan? See the world’s oldest tennis court built in 1541 at Falkland Palace, residence to King James IV and V, Mary Queen of Scots and visited by King Charles I and II. See a 400 year old royal high chair or a replica of Mary’s death mask.

The beautifully picturesque village of Falkland is a true delight also being used to replicate Inverness in the TV series Outlander. Lunch can be taken in a variety of locations here.

Experience Aberdour with its famous beach, picturesque railway station and castle which is considered the oldest in Scotland and was also used for scenes in Outlander.

This is a full day tour with lunch taken in Falkland or at one of the attractions visited. Contact us for more information.

Please note that Falkland Palace is closed from November to March and Aberdour Castle is closed on a Thursday and Friday during these months.

Scottish Classic Tours is managed by husband and wife, Duncan and Linda Cullen, both of whom share a love of Scotland, classic cars and history. We are a small family run business and ideally located for pick up at Glasgow or Edinburgh. If a different pick up location is preferred, please contact us as this can be arranged.
