I will take you on a fascinating journey through the centuries as we walk the Old Town of Edinburgh, showing you a building as old as 1130 and a tavern first established in 1516! I will also tell you of the darker aspects of life in Edinburgh.

I will take you on a fascinating journey through the centuries as we walk the Old Town of Edinburgh, showing you a building as old as 1130 and a tavern first established in 1516! I will also tell you of the darker aspects of life in Edinburgh from times long passed, including execution sites. Where did they take place? Who were the people who lost their lives there and what were their crimes?

We will visit Greyfriars graveyard, one of the most famous medieval kirkyards in the world. Whatever your taste I can tailor our time there to suit it. The meaning of symbols on gravestones, The Covenanters, body snatchers, and literary inspiration. If you have Harry Potter fans in your group I can show you the resting places of Tom Riddle and many other series characters.
