The ultimate coast-to-coast Scotland mountain bike tour

Our epic coast-to-coast Scotland mountain bike tour is the culmination of years of research and riding to find the ultimate coast-to-coast Scotland adventure. This week-long MTB tour will see you riding nearly 250km, 80% off-road, from the east coast town of Bonar Bridge and ending your week with a celebratory lunch and local beers at the famous Applecross Inn.

SKILL LEVEL: Advanced

TRIP HIGHLIGHTS

As you traverse the Highlands entirely under your own steam, through some of the most wild and remote scenery, you will experience many challenges and many more special moments, for example:

  • Learning how to ride our infamous ‘water bars’!
  • A ride across Loch Broom in a fast RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat)
  • Stopping at remote mountain bothies (refuges)
  • Crossing rivers
  • Hike-a-bike sections rewarded by spectacular views
  • Fabulous local Highland food and drink

ITINERARY

DAY 0 - Arrive in Inverness, refresh + prepare for your adventure

DAY 1 - Group meet up + warm-up ride near Inverness

DAY 2 - Bonar Bridge to Ullapool

DAY 3 - Ullapool to Poolewe

DAY 4 - Poolewe to Kinlochewe

DAY 5 - Kinlochewe to Torridon

DAY 6 - Rest day

DAY 7 - Torridon to Applecross

DAY 8 - Departure
