Queens View Pitlochry

Highland Perthshire

See the Highlands of Scotland, from the comfort of our comfortable vehicle

Departing from your designated location Settle back and relax as we navigate through some of the most beautiful lochs and hills Scotland has to offer. Starting the tour heading north to the Fair City of Perth; the city was known as a 'capital' of Scotland during the twelfth century, due to the royal courts. We offer an hour in the city Centre before making our way to Scone Palace, the stately home and coronation site of past Scottish Kings including Macbeth and Robert the Bruce.  Scone Palace Chapel contains the replica Stone of Destiny, the stone was used at the coronation of all Scottish monarchs.

On leaving Scone we follow the river Tay north and into the charming village of Dunkeld, to see the Cathedral before making our way to the local Hermitage where there is a short walk to view the beautifully cascading waterfalls.

The picturesque Victorian town of Pitlochry is our next stop for an hour and a half. Pitlochry has many restaurants and cafes for lunch, for shopping on the busy high street, or to visit the Power Station where you will find the salmon observation chamber and fish ladder.

We then travel to the Beautiful Queen's View, with its stunning vista across Loch Tummel to Schiehallion and the mountains of Glencoe in the distance. The village of Tummel Bridge and town of Aberfeldy are next where there are additional photo opportunities at the Wade Bridge and Black Watch Memorial.  This leads us through the Sma Glen and the town of Crieff heading south passing Gleneagles Hotel and onto the final stop of the day at Tullibardine Distillery where there are tours and tastings available.
