Partez pour une excursion inoubliable d'une journée depuis Glasgow, en explorant la beauté pittoresque des Highlands écossaises. Des rives de Loch Lomond aux paysages dramatiques d'Oban et du château de Kilchurn, cette excursion combine beauté naturelle, sites historiques et points de vue spectaculaires.

Le voyage commence à Luss, un charmant village sur les rives de Loch Lomond, connu pour ses rues pavées et ses cottages colorés. Promenez-vous tranquillement à travers le plus joli village d’Écosse et profitez de vues spectaculaires sur l’eau et les collines environnantes, parfaites pour les photos.

Ensuite, la route vous conduit le long du West Highland Way, en passant par Dalrigh, un site d'une grande importance historique. En approchant des Three Sisters de Glencoe, préparez-vous à être émerveillé par les sommets imposants et l’histoire riche de la région, qui a figuré dans de nombreux films, dont Skyfall.

Poursuivez votre voyage le long de Loch Linnhe vers le point de vue de Castle Stalker, qui offre une vue imprenable sur la forteresse médiévale située sur une île dans Loch Laich. Ce site pittoresque est célèbre pour son apparition dans Monty Python et le Saint Graal et offre une incroyable occasion de prendre des photos.

De là, prenez la route pittoresque le long de la côte ouest jusqu’à Oban, en traversant le Connel Bridge avant d’arriver dans cette ville balnéaire dynamique, connue sous le nom de « Porte des îles ». Profitez d’un délicieux déjeuner, avec la possibilité de goûter des fruits de mer frais ou d’autres spécialités écossaises, et prenez le temps d’explorer le joli port d'Oban, ses bâtiments victoriens et ses vues côtières.

Après le déjeuner, l’excursion continue avec des vues à couper le souffle sur Loch Awe, le plus long lac d’eau douce d’Écosse, avant de se diriger vers le château de Kilchurn. Cette ruine emblématique, située sur les rives de Loch Awe, date du 15e siècle et est l’un des sites les plus photographiés d’Écosse, offrant une fin dramatique et historique à l'excursion.

Avant de retourner à Glasgow, une courte pause au Green Welly Shop à Tyndrum vous permettra de vous étirer et de parcourir des produits écossais et des souvenirs.

De retour à Glasgow, vous aurez vécu certains des plus beaux paysages et sites historiques que l’Écosse a à offrir.
