Outlander Private Tour - shore excursion from Edinburgh

The original and still the best Outlander Tour, now in its 12th year! Whether you're a highlander or a sassenach I have something for every fan of the show and books.

I can't wait to show you the locations and inspiration for the Outlander world that Diana Gabaldon created. We will take in the Duke of Sandringham's home; the French home that Claire and Jamie occupied. We will visit Castle Leoch, the Grand Palace of Versailles, the train station where Claire and Frank said their goodbye, the prison headquarters of Captain "Black Jack" Randall as well as breathtaking landscapes as we travel from site to site. This will be an adventure you will never forget as you too will be transported back to the 1740s just as Claire was. While on our adventure we may even be lucky enough to actually watch the Outlander show being filmed! 

The outlander tour contains filming locations from season 1, 2 and 3, this is full day tour and will last up to 8 hours depending on traffic. This will allow you plenty of time for photographs and to visit the locations (where access is permitted).

The tour will be in a luxury eight seater vehicle and we can carry up to seven passengers at a time!

My name is Kevin and I will be your driver and Tour Guide!

 I set up Wee Scottish Tours with a lifetime of experience in exploring Scotland and the UK. My aim is to deliver a first-rate private tour to Edinburgh visitors, but in a way that’s totally different from bus tours. Tour buses have strictly set times and routes, so you don’t get to see as much as you could – I don’t. In fact, I take pride in showing the Edinburgh and Scotland that lots of tour guides leave out!
