Visit St Andrews on a Tour starting in Edinburgh

La magnifique ville historique de St Andrews est une destination incontournable lors de l'exploration de la côte est de l'Écosse. L'ancienne cathédrale et le château offrent un aperçu historique fascinant de ce lieu magnifique.

Notre visite commence à Édimbourg au lieu de prise en charge et partira à 9 heures précises. En parcourant la 2e plus grande ville d'Écosse, des informations sur le château et d'autres sites intéressants à voir autour de la ville rempliront vos oreilles.

En sortant de la ville, nous traverserons le pont Queensferry, le plus récent ajout enjambant la rivière Forth. Profitez de la vue pendant que nous traversons ce pont au style unique.


Nous faisons une randonnée plus longue le long de la côte, en passant par des points de repère tels que la tour de la Dame et le château d'Ardross, en nous imprégnant (pourrait être littéral selon la pluie ce jour-là) des vues spectaculaires sur le Firth of Forth et vers la mer du Nord.

Une fois de retour au van, il n'y a pas de temps à perdre ! Nous partirons rapidement, nous rapprochant de notre destination principale. Avant cela, votre guide vous conduira à travers certains des villages de pêcheurs qui sont absolument magnifiques.

Nous sommes arrivés à St Andrews ! Ici, vous passerez du temps à explorer la ville, à vous imprégner du patrimoine historique du château, de la cathédrale et des bâtiments universitaires. Et nous ne pouvions pas vous laisser oublier le célèbre Old Course qui est le berceau du golf.

C'est l'heure du déjeuner! Votre guide vous recommandera des endroits où manger un morceau avant de commencer le retour de notre voyage de retour à Édimbourg.

Cela ne signifie pas pour autant que nous avons fini d'explorer! Au départ de St Andrews, nous nous dirigerons vers la fascinante réserve naturelle nationale du Loch Leven. Nous partirons pour une courte promenade jusqu'au magnifique point de vue du château de Lochleven, que Mary Queen of Scots a visité pendant son règne.

Après avoir appris la longue histoire du Loch Leven, nous voyageons maintenant vers le sud en direction de la ville LA PLUS RÉCENTE d'Écosse. Oui, vous avez bien lu, la ville la plus récente, Dunfermline. L'abbaye abrite certains des rois et reines les plus puissants et les plus influents d'Écosse.

Rien de plus que l'homme principal lui-même, le roi Robert the Bruce (Robert I), qui est célèbre pour son rôle pendant les guerres d'indépendance.

Quelle journée ça a été ! Plein d'informations et de paysages incroyables! Il est maintenant malheureusement temps de retourner là où tout a commencé, Édimbourg. Votre guide déposera tout le monde au lieu de prise en charge à partir de ce matin et souhaitera bonne nuit à tout le monde !
