This itinerary is Golf Vacations UK most popular tour, and includes 4 of the 5 Open Championship Courses in Scotland. Traveling during this tour is at a minimum with the longest drive being around two and a half hours, from Troon to St Andrews. The tour concentrates on the 2 ‘pockets’ of golf courses on the West and East Coasts, i.e. Turnberry area and St Andrews area, where the golf courses in the itinerary are close together. As with the other Open Tours, Prime guaranteed tee times at St Andrews Old Course are included.

Suggested Itinerary for Turnberry / Troon / St.Andrews and Carnoustie Golf Packages

Saturday

Arrive at Glasgow airport and collect your hire car.

Transfer to Turnberry where you will be staying at The Turnberry Hotel for the next 2 nights.

Breakfast is included in your stay throughout this tour.


Sunday

Play 1 round on Turnberry Ailsa Open Championship Course

Monday

Today, after breakfast, you will leave the delights of the Turnberry Hotel and travel the short distance to Troon, where you will play Royal Troon Open Championship course.

After golf make your way to St Andrews where you will stay in your choice of hotel for the next 5 nights.

Tuesday

Play 1 round on Carnoustie Open Championship Course

Wednesday

Play 1 round at St.Andrews New or Jubilee Course

Thursday

Play 1 round at the home of golf – St.Andrews Old Course

Friday

Play 1 round at Kingsbarns

Saturday

Return to the airport for your flight home

What’s Included

All golf is subject to availability at the time of reservation

Caddies can be reserved if required

Room upgrades available at most hotels.

Self Drive or Fully Escorted Tour.

Costs are dependant upon number of golfers and standard of accommodation required and include:
