You don't have to search far and wide to enjoy a day trip in Scotland! There are hundreds of tours, day trip ideas, itineraries and more than you can use to create an exciting weekend break, or even a spontaneous last-minute decision, for all the special future trips you have planned!

Scotland is filled to the brim with exciting to places that you can visit in a day. From culture themed city visits, an escape to the mountains, a splash at the seaside, or a calming walk in the countryside, it's up to you what you choose!

National restrictions have been introduced for hospitality venues from Fri 9 Oct until Sun 25 Oct with additional local restrictions in four regions of central Scotland. Check the current Covid-19 restrictions to plan and book ahead when considering your trip.

You can still book your household onto organised activities - outdoor activities, tours, coaches - alongside other unconnected households, as operators can take larger numbers where capacity allows. Keep to your household within the activity, follow 2 m physical distancing (1 m for organised boat trips) and wear masks on coaches, tours and boat trips.Remember, the current guidelines are to stay safe, but if you are leaving your house, always stay 2 m away from other people where possible.

Many businesses are now working hard to reopen safely, so it's time to get planning your next day out or short trip again!
