Eday is one of the Northern Orkney Isles. Our Island is thriving with wildlife and our Community Ranger can be available to help and organise guided walks. Walks can be arranged by meeting you at the Ferry Terminal, but PLEASE note this must be done in advance by contacting on 07706662377 or email:- firstname.lastname@example.org https://www.facebook.com/edayranger2015/
There are many walks on our little island and stone age remains including Vinquoy Tomb and the Stone of Setter.
Bird watchers will find this an ideal location for observing the variety of sea birds, owls and rare species of ground nesting birds.
Eday is accessed by a Ro Ro Ferry which runs every day from Kirkwall, details and timetables are published on the Orkney Ferries Website
Additionally there are flights to and from the Island via Kirkwall Airport on Wednesdays only all details and timetables are published on the Logan Air Website
From the Ferry Terminal at Eday Pier, just follow the main road to the top, turn right and we are about two miles up the road just after the Airport on the left
Check the Ferry Timetable from The Main Terminal in Kirkwall at
