Broughty Ferry was originally a fishing village and the whitewashed fishermen's cottages remain, along with the harbour, pier and castle which now houses a Museum. The pebble beach directly in front of the apartment looks over to Tayport and the beaches of Tentsmuir in Fife. Round the corner is a long sandy beach and children's playpark with crazy golf. Walk in the other direction and follow the river to the Yacht club. There are many cafes, restaurants, pubs and boutique and gift shops within a short walk (as well as Visocchi's Ice Cream Cafe) to suit all budgets and a small grocer shop with all the essentials at the back gate of the car park.
