We have 3 en suite bedrooms, two in the main house (Sea bird and Rock dove), on the ground floor.The third room(Swallow) is a barn convertion up a flight of stairs across from our Sauna Room.We have ample storage for cyclists and motorcyclists.Or anyone with outdoor pursuit equipment.We also have spacious parking at our property.
We are a mile away from the popular Kirkaig Falls walk and if you continue it will take you up to the iconic mountain foot of Suilven.
In the village of Lochinver we have the renowned Highland Stoneware Pottery where visitors can shop and walk around the workshop viewing the making process and chatting to the painters. We have a variety of interesting shops in the village.ie.Lochinver Landscapes, Rockpool and Achins coffee and book shop (half a mile from us on the way to Kirkaig Falls ). Our beautiful white snad beaches, Achmelvich and Clachtol are a must to visit when roaming this stunning rugged landscape. Ardvreck Castle (11 miles from us) is such an interesting Assynt landmark. As is the newly excavated Clachtol Broch are amoung many historical sights here in Assynt.
We are lucky enough to have a few very good eateries in the village. The Lochinver Larder and Pie shop,Peets Restaurant, The Caberfiedh Dinning Pub, Michelle Roux Restaurant in Inverlodge Hotel,An Caladh café and Hotel Kylesku Retuarant (11 miles from us).
