Largs is a charming Scottish seaside resort and the promenade offers a choice of ice cream parlours, some of the best fish and chips in Scotland and kids play areas including rides and a fabulous skatepark. The promenade is lined with palm trees that grow due to the Gulf Stream that runs from the Gulf of Mexico, which is why Largs normally has mild winters.
