The village of Portsoy is a short drive away with a beautiful historic harbour to explore which has a pub and Portsoy Marble shop. In the village there are hotels, shops, boating on Loch Soy and Portsoy Ice Cream shop which is well worth a visit for the ice cream alone. There are a few places to eat for evening meals in Portsoy . Cullen is also a few minutes drive away and has a beautiful beach and a Golf Course overlooking the sea with an array of antique and gift shops and a few places to eat.
