The Steading offers boutique Bed and Breakfast accommodation set in a semi rural part of the royal burgh of Dornoch. The steading itself is a historic 150 year old former grain store which has been sympathetically restored.
The Steading was restored to reflect its original character outside while giving it a modern conversion inside. This is reflected within by four beautifully appointed bedrooms; all ensuite, with Superking size beds and pillows and all the modern amenities one would expect in a 5 star hotel but keeping it with the feel of something very personal.
It holds its place in a peaceful semi rural location with spectacular views across the Dornoch Firth to Struie Hill which dominates the landscape around the Dornoch Firth… the great Caledonian pinewoods, to some of Scotland’s highest mountains and all this just two minutes from the north coast NC500 route of just over 500 miles of stunning coastal scenery and two minute drive from the historic town of Dornoch.
