Pianist, bandleader, singer, composer, television presenter and multi-platinum recording artist: the legendary artist Jools Holland and special guests return for another fantastic night at Perth Concert Hall as part of a special Perth Festival of the Arts concert.
Following Jools’ last show in the city in 2023, the Festival is delighted to welcome Jools’ return with his very own Festival date this summer.
Accompanied by the sound of his unforgettable 19-piece Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, Jools welcomes special guest star Roachford and guest vocalists Ruby Turner, Louise Marshall and Sumudu Jayatilaka.
From playing pubs in the East End docks as a teenager, to leading his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra and selling millions of records, his passion for music and formidable live performances have made Jools Holland a legendary figure in the music industry. Jools has maintained a prolific recording career since signing to Warner Music in 1996, which includes the multimillion selling Jools Holland and Friends series.
Jools' career as a television presenter has run parallel to his musical career. Later... with Jools Holland celebrated 25 years, 50 series and over 360 episodes of broadcast on BBC Two in 2017.
Jools' achievements were formally recognised in 2003, when he was awarded the OBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours List.
