Nuart Aberdeen returns this spring, bringing world-class street artists back to the Granite City for a long weekend of colour, creativity and transformation.
From Thursday 23 April to Sunday 26 April, internationally acclaimed artists will take to Aberdeen’s walls, lanes and hidden corners to create brand-new murals and installations. Delivered by Aberdeen Inspired in partnership with Aberdeen City Council, the festival will once again turn the city centre into an open-air gallery for everyone to enjoy.
This year marks a shift from the usual June dates, with organisers choosing April as the perfect moment to bring fresh energy into the city.
About Nuart Aberdeen:
Launched in 2017, Nuart Aberdeen has grown into one of the world’s leading street art festivals and a major highlight of the city’s cultural calendar. Over the years it has attracted a global lineup of artists who bring large-scale murals, paste-ups, stencils, installations and hidden gems to the Granite City.
Nuart’s impact extends far beyond festival weekend. With over 60 artworks now forming Aberdeen’s outdoor street-art collection, the festival continues to draw visitors year-round and has been widely praised in the media — including being named among the best street art festivals in the world by The Financial Times and hailed as a cultural highlight by The Independent.
Nuart Aberdeen is delivered by Reed Projects, founded by curator Martyn Reed, and produced locally by Aberdeen Inspired. Together, we deliver world-class creativity that is free and accessible for all.
